Discover how Tim Ronalds Architects transformed Clerkenwell’s historic New River Head into the new Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration. The building, once the operational headquarters of the New River Company, was originally funded by 17th-century global trade investors known as ‘the Adventurers’ and served as a vital structure for London’s water supply until 1904.
Join us to explore this sensitive restoration and redevelopment. Guided by the Architect, we will see how historic pump houses and reservoirs have been reimagined into a delightful, quirky visitor experience. The project seamlessly blends original industrial features with contemporary galleries, educational hubs, and social spaces.
Tickets £10, booking details to follow.
