THE BLACKHEATH SOCIETY

If you care about Blackheath, the Heath itself, the village and the surrounding area, you will probably be interested in the work of the Blackheath Society. Founded in 1937, it is one of the oldest and largest amenity societies in London. Its interests, which are strictly non-party political, include:

- The preservation of fine buildings of all ages and styles
- High standards in new development
- The care and protection of the Heath
- Traffic planning and public transport
- A radical improvement in the appearance of the Village
- And all the many other factors which affect the quality of life in Blackheath.

Whether or not you live in Blackheath, we hope you will wish to join the Society and give it your support. In order to achieve its objectives of preserving and enhancing the many attractive features of Blackheath, the Society needs the support of as many members of the community as possible.

The annual subscription is a minimum of £15 per household. Payment by standing order is greatly preferred and completion of a Gift Aid declaration will help the Society further. Life Membership is also available. To apply for membership please click HERE.
