NEWS FROM THE VILLAGE

70TH ANNIVERSARY LITERARY EVENING
'Blackheath Remembered' with Michael Frayn and
Blake Morrison
The event is open to members and non-members. Tickets at £10.00 to include a glass of wine. These will be available from the office in Chapman House or from the box office at the Halls shortly. Please make a note of this date in your diary now.

THE SOCIETY'S AGM
The AGM will be held on Thursday 18 October at 7.30pm in the Recital Room at the Halls. A display of the winning three photographs and the highly commended photographs from our recent 70th Anniversary Photographic Competition will be shown at the end of the formal meeting.

The Society's 2007 Christmas cards will also be available to purchase for the first time at this event. Thereafter they will be available from the office.

OPEN HOUSE
The capital's biggest architectural event. This year's event will be held over the weekend of 15/16 September.
